Regular is BERG's name for a trampoline on legs: the frame stands on the lawn and a safety net goes round it. There is no digging and no installer to book. That makes it the quickest type to get going, and the one to choose where the ground is too wet, too stony or too shallow to dig.
We deliver 26 Regular models across County Mayo, from €449 to €4,999, every one with its net. The catch in the west is wind. A net is a sail, and anchoring is part of the job here, so we have put it near the top of the page.
Two of the monthly records in Met Éireann's table of extremes belong to Belmullet: the highest February gust, 172 km/h on 9 February 1988, and the highest May gust, 144 km/h on 23 May 2011. The May one is worth remembering. Big gusts do not keep to the winter, and May is when the net is up and the trampoline is in daily use.
Inland gets it too. On the morning of Storm Éowyn, 24 January 2025, Knock Airport recorded a gust of about 156 km/h and mean winds of violent storm force 11, according to Met Éireann. Mayo was also under a Status Red wind warning for Storm Darragh in December 2024.
Met Éireann gives the prevailing wind as between south and west, so that is the side of the site to look at first. BERG notes that a fence or hedge lowers a trampoline's exposure to gusts. A spot in the lee of one is worth more than a spot with a view.
Our own addition: a short stake in soft ground does very little, so on peaty or soft ground ask us which kit suits. More in Mayo wind and ground.
Both kits fit any make of trampoline standing on grass. Ground anchors do not hold in a patio, concrete or gravel. Check them after every named storm and tighten or re-seat any that have lifted. Ordered with a trampoline they travel free; on their own, delivery is €11.99.
Four galvanised steel corkscrew anchors with four webbing straps and buckle tensioners. The straps go over the frame and can be tightened again when the ground softens.
Adjustable, and easier to take out again.

Many Mayo homes are detached houses on rural sites, and there the lawn will often take any size on this page. The questions are which patch is level and which is sheltered. BERG needs level ground, 2 m clear at the sides and 7 m clear overhead, so keep clear of trees and overhead lines.
In a town garden the sums are tighter, because the 2 m of clearance takes more room than a small trampoline does. These are the Regular models up to 280cm. The trampoline size guide shows how to measure.

These are BERG's manufacturer warranties. Registering the trampoline with BERG after you buy it adds 3 years: a Favorit frame goes from 5 years to 8, and Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer frames from 10 years to 13. Favorit, Champion and Elite are each made round, oval and rectangular, while the Pro Bouncer is a 16 x 10ft rectangle or a 16 x 16ft square. To see one size priced across the ranges, use the Favorit, Champion and Elite comparison. The BERG trampoline range page lists every type together.
Grass, on the level. A lawn takes ground anchors and is kinder underfoot than anything hard. Concrete, tarmac and gravel are worse than grass for a trampoline, and anchors will not hold in them.
Around Westport and Newport the land is drumlin country and plenty of sites slope. Only the level part counts when you measure. Wherever you are in the county, send us a photo if you are unsure of the spot.
On an exposed or coastal site, we suggest considering an in-ground trampoline. A FlatGround, from €699, sits at ground level and so catches far less wind than a trampoline on legs. An InGround, from €339, keeps a low raised edge.
Both need groundwork and ground that drains, which an installer has to judge on site. A Regular needs neither, and you can take it with you if you move.
Mayo Trampolines is run by Trampolines Ireland, an official BERG Premium Dealer. We sell online and deliver across County Mayo by courier. A trampoline comes on a pallet with East West Express of Charlestown, Co. Mayo, a member of The Pallet Network, and is set down at the kerbside. Someone signs for it, and you move the boxes from there.
All Regular models are over €300, so delivery costs nothing. A model in stock is delivered within 48 hours. If it has to come in, 7 to 10 days is typical and we confirm the date when you order. Write any damage on the docket and tell us within 24 hours. Full terms are on the Mayo delivery page.
We supply and deliver. Assembly is covered by BERG's manual, and if you want it done for you we can put you in touch with an independent installer, who gives you their own price. See who installs a trampoline in Mayo.
Still weighing it up? Choosing a trampoline in Mayo goes through the decision, or ring 091 423 369.
Between €449 and €4,999. The safety net is in the price and so is delivery. Favorit models start at €449, Champion at €969, Elite at €1,449 and the Pro Bouncer at €3,659.
Our advice is yes, every time. BERG calls an anchor set one of the most effective ways to secure a trampoline, and asks you to check the anchors after a storm. We sell 2 kits from €55, both shown on this page. Ground anchors need soil to grip, so they do not hold in a patio, concrete or gravel.
BERG's advice before a heavy storm is to remove the padding and the safety net, which leaves the wind far less to catch. Afterwards, check the anchors and tighten or re-seat any that have moved. BERG also says a trampoline should never be used in rain or wind.
A short stake in soft ground does very little. That is our own experience, and it is why we ask about the ground before recommending a kit. On peaty or soft ground, ring us on 091 423 369 and tell us what the site is like, and we will say which anchor kit suits. If the site is very open as well, say so, and we will talk through the options with you.
BERG says its trampolines are not for children under six. Its other rules are one user at a time and an adult supervising.
It goes by range, and it is BERG's manufacturer warranty. Favorit: 5 years, 8 when registered. Champion: 10 years, 13 when registered. Elite: 10 years, 13 when registered with BERG. Pro Bouncer: 10 years, 13 when registered.
You, or someone you hire. We supply and deliver and do not assemble. BERG's manual covers the assembly. If you would prefer to have it done, ask us and we will put you in touch with an independent installer, who quotes you directly.
Send a photo or two, the rough size of the level ground and which way it faces. We will suggest the spot, the size and the anchor kit, with a delivered price. It is free and there is no obligation.
