    Mayo playgrounds, town by town

Before a family buys anything for the garden, the nearest playground has usually done years of service. So this page sets out where the public ones are, area by area.

The credit belongs to Mayo County Council. Its Parks and Playgrounds page describes over 90 outdoor recreational facilities across the county: playgrounds, MUGA parks, skateparks and running tracks. The names below are the council's own, written as the council writes them. We have added a handful of other places, each linked to its official or tourism page, and we repeat only what those pages say.

Checked in October 2026. This is a selection by town, and things change: see the council's page for the full list and for any closures. We give no opening hours and no charges.
