BERG SPORTS Favorit InGround 200 Grey
- Size
- 6.5ft (200cm)
- Enclosure
- No net
An InGround is sunk into the lawn until only a low raised edge stands above the grass. You step on without a ladder, and there is much less standing up in the weather than with a trampoline on legs. BERG makes it in Favorit, Champion and Elite, in round, oval and rectangular shapes, and sells every size with a safety net or without one.
There are 40 InGround models on this page, from €339 to €1,949, all delivered free across County Mayo. Two things come before the choice of model here: how open the site is, and what the ground does with water.
Exposure, mostly. Our advice on anchoring ends with this line: on an exposed or coastal site, consider an in-ground trampoline. A good deal of Mayo fits that description, from Erris and Achill round to Clew Bay, and so do many inland sites with an open view to the south-west, where Met Éireann places the prevailing wind.
An InGround lowers the trampoline. It does not make it stormproof. A safety net still catches wind, so BERG's advice to remove the net and the padding before a heavy storm holds for this type too. If you want it lower again, the FlatGround finishes flush with the grass.
The trampoline sits over a hollow, and water finds hollows. BERG's requirement is short: an in-ground trampoline needs "adequate drainage", and the ground-water level has to be checked. The installer assesses both in your garden. Mayo gives them three quite different kinds of country to work with.
Over all of it falls a western share of rain. Met Éireann puts rainfall in the west at 1,000 to 1,400 mm a year as a general average, against 750 to 1,000 mm for most of the east, and more than 2,000 mm in many mountain districts. Newport had 258 rain days in 2025, more than anywhere else in Ireland.
That is the county's broad pattern, and your own site may be nothing like its neighbours. So the order of events matters: get the installer out first, hear what they say about drainage, then choose the model. If they advise against digging, an above-ground trampoline with a good anchor kit is the other route.
You will find no hole sizes or drainage methods on this site. Those belong to BERG's manual and to the person doing the work. We cannot advise on planning matters either, so if you are in doubt, ask Mayo County Council before any digging starts. A reminder of BERG's naming: Grand means oval, Ultim means rectangular, and SPORTS means it comes with no net. Each price opens that model on TrampolinesIreland.com. All are listed in grey, and you can ask us about other colours.

| Range | Springs | Jumping mat | Protective edge | Frame warranty | InGround from |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Favorit | SoloSpring | AirFlow | 20mm thick, 38cm wide | 5 years, 8 when registered | €339 |
| Champion | TwinSpring | AirFlow Pro | 30mm thick, 38cm wide | 10 years, 13 when registered | €779 |
| Elite | TwinSpring | AirFlow Pro | 30mm thick, 38cm wide | 10 years, 13 when registered | €1,109 |
The warranty column is BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame: 5 years on a Favorit, or 8 once it is registered with BERG, and 10 on a Champion or an Elite, or 13 once registered. Champion and Elite share their springs and mat. What the Elite adds is heavier frame tubing and a padding warranty of 5 years in place of 2. All three carry the CE mark and the GS mark (TÜV). See one size priced in each range on the comparison page, or every type on the BERG trampoline range page.
The small InGround models are all in the Favorit range. Champion and Elite begin at 330cm. Sinking a trampoline does not shrink the space it needs: BERG still asks for 2 m clear at the sides and 7 m overhead. The size guide explains how to measure.

It is the only sunk type you can buy as a Favorit, which keeps the starting price at €339. It is the only one made as an oval. And every size can have a safety net, which is true of only some FlatGround models.
The price of all that is a low edge showing above the grass, and groundwork that has to be done properly.
The FlatGround has no edge at all. Prices begin at €699, in Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer. If it is a Pro Bouncer you want sunk into the lawn, the FlatGround is the way to have it, as there is no InGround Pro Bouncer.
The Regular above-ground trampoline begins at €449 with its net. Nobody digs, and in Mayo it should be anchored.
Mayo Trampolines is run by Trampolines Ireland, an official BERG Premium Dealer. We sell online and deliver across County Mayo by courier. Your InGround arrives on a pallet with East West Express of Charlestown, Co. Mayo, a member of The Pallet Network, and is left at the kerbside for you to sign for. The boxes are yours to move from there, and you keep the pallet.
There is no delivery charge. Stocked models are delivered within 48 hours, and others typically in 7 to 10 days, with the date confirmed when you order. A pallet lorry needs more room than a van, so warn us about a narrow lane, a low bridge or a long unpaved drive. More on the Mayo delivery page.
We supply and deliver, and that is where our part ends. The digging and fitting are for an independent installer, landscaper or builder, who visits and quotes you directly. Ring 091 423 369 if you would like an introduction. Booking that person before delivery day saves the boxes sitting in the shed.
It is worth considering. Our own advice for an exposed or coastal site is to look at an in-ground trampoline, because it sits low, with only a raised edge above the lawn. Two cautions. If you fit a safety net, the net still catches wind, and BERG's advice is to take it off before a heavy storm. And the ground has to drain, which an installer must check on site.
Only someone who has stood in the garden can answer that. BERG requires adequate drainage for an in-ground trampoline and a check of the ground-water level, and the installer assesses both on site. Peat bog covers most of the north-west of Mayo and rainfall in the west generally averages 1,000 to 1,400 mm a year, so have that visit before you order. If the verdict is no, a trampoline on legs needs no digging.
An independent installer, a landscaper or a builder. We supply and deliver the trampoline and do not install it. The person doing the work sees the site, quotes you directly and works from BERG's manual. If you have nobody lined up, we can put you in touch with an independent installer.
The trampoline is €339 to €1,949, delivered free in Mayo. Favorit starts at €339, Champion at €779 and Elite at €1,109. The groundwork is priced separately by whoever does it.
For a Favorit, BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame is 5 years, 8 when registered. For a Champion and for an Elite it is 10 years, rising to 13 when you register it with BERG.
Either way. BERG lists each size with a net and, under the SPORTS name, with none. The table on this page gives both prices side by side. The trampoline itself is identical.
BERG's manual makes its anchoring kit compulsory for an in-ground trampoline. Your installer will work from that manual.
Send photos, rough measurements and a word on how the ground holds water after rain. We will suggest a shape and size and list what to ask an installer. It is free and there is no obligation.
