A frame on legs, sold with its safety net. There is no groundwork, so wet or peaty ground is no obstacle as long as the spot is level. With the net up it gives the wind the most to push on, so anchor it.
Above-ground trampolines

Sunk into the lawn, with a low raised edge left showing. It comes in Favorit, Champion and Elite and is sold with a net or without. An installer does the groundwork and judges the drainage on site.
InGround trampolines

Flush with the grass: no step up, no ladder, and nothing to block the view. It comes in Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer. At ground level it catches far less wind than a trampoline on legs, and it depends most on drainage.

Favorit is BERG's entry range and the one with the lowest prices. It also has the smallest trampolines BERG makes: rounds of 200cm (6.5ft) and 270cm (9ft) and a rectangle 280cm long, which suit a town garden. You can have a Favorit on legs or as an InGround. There is no Favorit FlatGround. BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame is 5 years, and 8 once you register the trampoline with BERG.

Champion is the middle range. The springs change to TwinSpring, the mat to AirFlow Pro, and the protective edge is thicker. It is the one range sold all three ways with a full spread of shapes, so it has more ovals and rectangles than Favorit or Elite, and its FlatGround models are the lowest priced. BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame is 10 years, and 13 once you register the trampoline with BERG.

Elite shares its springs, mat and protective edge with Champion. The difference is heavier frame tubing and padding that BERG covers for 5 years. Sizes begin at 330cm (11ft) and there are fewer of them, so check your measurements before you set your heart on one. BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame is 10 years, and 13 once you register the trampoline with BERG.

The Pro Bouncer sits at the top of BERG's list. It comes in two sizes only, a 16 x 10ft rectangle and a 16 x 16ft square, as a FlatGround or on legs. BERG does not make it round, oval or as an InGround. Add BERG's 2 m of clear space on every side and it wants a big, level site. The frame warranty is 10 years, or 13 when registered with BERG.

Start with the type. On a sheltered, level lawn a trampoline on legs is the simple answer. Where the site is open to the south-west, or near the coast, look hard at the in-ground types, and have an installer check the drainage before you order.
Then the size. BERG asks for 2 m clear at the sides and 7 m overhead, on level ground, so measure the level part and take the clearance off. Then pick the range that makes that size at a price you are happy with.
A few notes on the tables. Clicking a price takes you to that model on TrampolinesIreland.com. Trampolines on legs always include a safety net. An InGround is offered both ways. Round FlatGround models have no net, and the larger rectangular ones can have a net or BERG's AeroWall stunt wall. Colours listed are grey, with one green, and BERG also makes black, so ask us about other colours.
Every trampoline costs more than €300, so there is no delivery charge. The haulier for Mayo is East West Express of Charlestown, Co. Mayo, a member of The Pallet Network. The pallet is set down at the kerbside, you sign for it, and you carry the boxes round to the garden.
In stock means delivered within 48 hours. If we have to order the model in, expect 7 to 10 days as a rule. We give you the date when you order. Pallet lorries are bigger than parcel vans, so mention a narrow lane, a low bridge or a long unpaved drive.
We supply and deliver. Assembly of a trampoline on legs follows BERG's manual, and the groundwork for the sunk types belongs to an installer. Met Éireann puts yearly rainfall in the west at 1,000 to 1,400 mm as a rule, so the installer's view of your drainage is worth having before you buy.

For Favorit, BERG's manufacturer warranty on the frame is 5 years, 8 when registered. Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer each have 10 years, which becomes 13 when you register the trampoline with BERG. Padding is covered for 2 years on a Champion and 5 on an Elite.
Every type needs thought. A FlatGround sits at ground level, so it catches far less wind than a trampoline on legs, and on an exposed or coastal site we suggest considering an in-ground model. A trampoline on legs is fine in a sheltered spot when it is anchored. BERG's advice for any model with a net is to take the net and the padding off before a heavy storm.
Regular means on legs. Grand means oval. Ultim means rectangular. SPORTS means no safety net is supplied with it. So a BERG SPORTS Ultim Champion FlatGround is a rectangular Champion, level with the lawn, with no net.
The edge. An InGround leaves a low raised edge above the lawn. A FlatGround finishes flush with the grass. The ranges differ too: an InGround can be a Favorit, Champion or Elite, and a FlatGround can be a Champion, Elite or Pro Bouncer.

No. We supply and deliver. A trampoline on legs is assembled from BERG's manual. For an InGround or FlatGround the groundwork is done by an installer, landscaper or builder, who quotes you directly. We can put you in touch with an independent installer.
